Agree your limits together
This is the part that makes everything after it easier. Have the conversation first, and have it honestly. You can change your minds later, but you should always know where you both stand.
What you’re both open to
Interests such as Chat Only, Couple fun, One on one fun and Discreet Meets let you say it on your profile. Pick only the ones you both said yes to.
What’s off the table
Decide what neither of you wants, whether that’s a type of meet-up, a kind of person or a photo you won’t share. Put the clear limits on your profile.
How either of you can stop
Agree a word or a look that means “pause”, with no questions asked. Either of you can say no at any point, to each other or to anyone else.
Then choose who you’d like to meet, from any mix of men, women, couples and non-binary people, and decide which photos you’re both happy with. The Terms ask everyone to leave last names, addresses, workplaces and contact details off profiles.

Reply, ignore or block. Potentially sensitive images arrive blurred with a warning, and the site flags anyone trying to move a chat to another app.
ID verification is free and optional, and a live video check needs no documents. Neither is compulsory, so a missing badge proves nothing, and Bi Friends doesn’t run criminal background checks.

Talk to the person or couple before you plan anything, and see whether you all want the same thing.
Start somewhere public
Have a drink first. Tell a friend where you’ll be, and arrange your own way home.
Check in with each other
Keep an eye on how the other is doing as the evening goes on. If either of you is unsure, you stop.
Talk about protection early
Bring your own and say plainly what you will and won’t do. It’s a sensible thing to raise, and it’s nothing to be shy about.

Do we have to agree on everything?
Not everything, but your profile speaks for both of you, so settle the basics before you join. Agree what you’re open to, what’s off the table and how either of you can call time, then write it down in the interests and in your own words.
Can we just chat?
Yes. Pick Chat Only as an interest and keep it to conversation for as long as you both like.
Will singles message us?
They may, since singles are members too. You can reply, ignore or block, and your profile can say who you’d like to meet.
Can we plan something with a group?
VIP members can create a private group chat of up to 50 people, with a mix of VIP and free members. It keeps arrangements in one place.
Can people we know find our profile?
We can’t promise they won’t. Real names and emails stay private and the site shows only your nearest town or city, but a recognisable photo or bio detail could still identify you. Your profile is also visible on the company’s sister sites, as section 16 of the Terms explains.
What if someone ignores what we’ve said?
Block them instantly, and report the person or the content from inside the site.
